This is a feature requested by several people (forum and other places). It depends on #53: Refactor data files.

Even thought not everything is in place, there is a working prototype. It consists of a Firefox Extension that scan the page for a specific part and if it finds it sends the data over to VCC, via a small web server in VCC.

Aside from the data refactor this depends on embedding the browser and providing some kind of user interface. Current ideas include:

  • Cache data captures, so that if a future VCC releases can process data better, this will not require recapturing everything.
  • Save data directly to the new compendium database. Maybe reformat the stat block to have it available on VCC.

Basic implementation has been done. Need to test and clean up code. Should include in version 1.0.
