Dice Roller

Description

I'm getting annoyed with my players always trying to see my dice rolls. :-)

Is it possible for a "dice roller" to be included in the interface somehow?

Maybe even extend the idea into the lands of being able to specify things like 2d10+11 and VCC do it all in an instant?

Maybe have a set of buttons that run along the bottom of the interface that are programmed to roll certain dice and add certain amounts and all you have to do is press the button or a shortcut and it rolls the specified programmed dice and adds it all up for you. Shortcuts could be like CTRL+ALT+1 through to CTRL+ALT+9 (or 0).

Just on my wishlist for future reference... :-)

Joe, I was review the issues. I think we could have a popup or something where you place the formula and simply let it give the result. This will take some typing, but could be helpful.

For most of roll, I would prefer some-thing like
"Source A uses power X on target B", buy button on source power
Hit rolled, modifier applied, attack result shown, to hit rolled, modifier applied

Some controls to add:
[ x ] Cover
[ x ] Superior cover
[ x ] Combat Advantage

[ Attack Bonus|v] - dropdown -10 .. +10 to resolve various modifiers not know by vcc
[ Damage Bonus|v] - dropdown -10 .. +10, +1W, +2W, to resolve various modifiers not know by vcc

VCC should show calculation, like
d20 - cover + combat advantage = 16 - 2 + 2 = 16

On Submit values applied to characters and monsters.

There will be a lot of possible improvements here, (like adding special modifiers, support additional damage like backstab, support immunity/vulnerability), but, for most of monsters this will just work.

Open questions - how to target several combatants (looks like for need additional dialog)

I suggest we move this discussion to the vcc-dev list.
