Announcing Virtual Combat Cards 1.1.0 with a new and improved layout
We are very proud to announce Virtual Combat Cards version 1.1.0. With good creative winds on our coding sails, we managed to pull a very important release with several great improvements in the layout of the main window. Using Info Node Docking Windows the entire screen was redesigned into docking panel, that can be moved, resized, and stacked. Reorganize the screen to fit your needs and save you layout. New combatant selection logic and initiative panel reduce the amount of clicking significantly.

The new version includes:
- Navigation with keyboard shortcuts;
- Both acting and target combatant can be visible;
- Smoother update logic;
- Better handling of malformed party files;
- Protection from accidentally closing the window;
- More flexible compendium location;
- Improvements to make VCC Mac friendly, mostly allowing it to be packaged as a Mac Application Bundle (coming soon);
- Sample compendium data for those that want to give it a try.
See release notes for more details.
The underlying code was significantly improved, clearing space for some important future enhancements. We continue committed to creating the best tracker out there. We are really happy and proud of the progress. Feedback and improvement ideas are always welcome.
