On December 18, Virtual Combat Cards was one year old. During this year a lot has changed and the application has evolved a lot. We are really happy with all the progress and community support. Many features are under planning and we will continue to work to make Virtual Combat Cards the best free tracker out there. We would like to thank all the people that use it, those who tried, and mostly those that have posted comments and helped out testing, spreading the news and just saying good things.

For the next year we want to keep developing VCC and release frequent updates (even if with only one or two features). Among the things we would like to work on are:

• Track spendable things, like action point, healing surges, healing potions;
• Save and load battle states;
• Track power usage;
• Remind DM of things like saves, regeneration and ongoing damage;
• Import from more sources;
• Improved effect tracking (this would include complex conditions and things like after effects);
• Native installers (we have on for the Mac now);

We still are looking for people that can help code, test, and document. Even help with things like artwork and site updates are welcome. All the works done to date is volunteer, and done of free time.
