Description
I don't know how tough this would be but I hate that every time I go to save a file or open a file (such as Load Party) I have to navigate from the top of my User folder all the way down thru the numerous nested folders to where I keep my gaming software.
Many other apps remember the last folder used and start saves or open commands from that folder.
This would be a *major* improvement to the user interface.
I'm on a Mac -- OS 10.6.2.

This would be a nice enhancement no doubt.
There is a work around that can be used now. There is a file on your home directory called
vcc.properties, in there there is an entry called:vcc.dnd4e.basedir. You can change that to where you store your files (or a directory closer to it). There is no GUI way of doing this, and make sure you make a backup.#2
Turns out that this behavior is really easy to implement. Now VCC will look for the last location you saved or opened a file from. Will include this in the 1.2 release.
