Description
I've imported the bebilith http://www.wizards.com/dndinsider/compendium/monster.aspx?id=2856
It is imported properly, but when I want to use it, it says it is not in the compendium. If I go to edit the monster I foudn out that in the initiative line it says: +16 (see dangersense), in red, after the inititive field it says that this is not an integer. If I edit and remove the + and the (see dangersense) text, save it and close, it works ok from the on.

I have stumbled on this issue also. The work around you describe is the right one for now. I believe VCC should have the ability to have comments on initiative and handle this correctly.
VCC will not add invalid monsters to the combat, but you can edit them and make them legal. This is because the logic reads initiative to determine the order. The correct behavior should be to extract the number and maybe allow the comment in general. An alternative is to strip the comment for the data.
