I used version 1.2 of VCC extensively this last weekend with my gaming group. Things worked really well again, but I noticed something while using the new monster stat block feature. It is nice to have a monsters stat block visible when it is the monsters turn, but it would be even better to have an ability to detach a window that contains all the monster stat blocks for the encounter. In this way, I have one place to glance to see the monster stats even if that monster isn't currently active. I guess all the party stat blocks would be handy to have detached as well. Right now while I like the stat blocks and they can be handy, I still find myself referencing the module encounter copy of the monster stat block often.
Maybe a way to highlight the stat block of the active creature in the detached window would be useful too. Just thinking out loud on that last item though. Maybe I just need to play more with the current interface to get more comfortable?

I hope you noticed that whichever entry you select on the Combat Sequence view, will change the stat block to that creature. Also if you which to make that creature active or the source of the effect, you can use Alt+A to make it appear as the acting combatant.
While working with the docking windows I did consider the possibility of having all stat block on it's own tab, while it is possible I wonder if it would be beneficial. At the time I gave you the idea because you don't need just the stat block, you need the effect list and the notes. This list will grow in the future to include powers used.
Detaching windows will consume a lot of screen space. It really depends on the computer resolution. Plus if 5 monster are the same (let's say minions) should each have a window?
One alternative would be to have a browser page generate containing the stat blocks of all monsters in the combat (in line with the #92: Display for players). This would make it look like the pages in the modules.
