It would be good if there will be public nightly builds
for people who are are ready to review recent changes before next release.

I'm happy to hear you may be wishing to look at nightly builds. Unfortunately VCC still has no automated building and release mechanism to deliver night builds. As you reported on issue #182: After upgrading from 1.1.0 to 1.3.1 VCC will not work, upgrading still has some weak points.
One of my unstated goals is to have a way to run multiple version and fetch dependencies in an automated fashion. But this is still some time away.
What I have been doing, is use the development list to inform of new build (see Project information page). I'm always happy to have people to test the solution. So if you want to join the list you are more than welcome.

As far as I understand no snapshots for 1.4 available yet ?

I have been investigating some alternatives, and I believe we can use Maven as a way to release nightly (or at least more frequent builds). It is easy to publish snapshots to the site, and use Maven dependency resolution to download and run the snapshots.
I'm still working on a full process for this. Any volunteers to test this are welcome.

I have started pushing snapshot build to the exnebula.org site. You can follow this procedure to test it on your machine. Please use the development list to discuss improvements and problem.
