Mac OS shows incorrect version of VCC

This is a split from the issue #182: After upgrading from 1.1.0 to 1.3.1 VCC will not work (see this comment). After updating VCC, Mac App version remains the same. Should update internal information for the operating system.

While working on improving the upgrade strategy I happened to find a simple solution for this issue. Will implement this in the next bundle release.

Turn out the Mac bundle had more issues then just the version update. Running from the DMG would block updates (including notifications of them). I have spend some time improving the entire process, including the generation of the DMG itself and will release a updated version soon.

On version 1.8.0 Mac machines now have handler for the About dialog (as well as Quit and Prefences).

Updates to the Version on will update the Info.plist which is use to define the version for the application bundle.
